Back to the Blogosphere
Well I haven't posted in a while. It's hard to have fun stuff to talk about when your fiance (I love saying that!) posts about everything before you get the chance... I need to find some hobbies. One thing Jordan can't post about is my friend Ashby's birthday party that I went to last week. My friend Lori (and her adorable daughter Chloe) called to tell me about it at the last minute. Needless to say, my plans for two or three miles on the treadmill were happily substituted with two or three pieces of cookie cake and a burger :) Yeah...my getting skinny for the wedding thing isn't working quite like I planned. But I'm getting back on track this week! I'm house-sitting for a family with dogs I have to walk three times a day, and I bought nothing but healthy food to take over there, so maybe I can get started shedding the pounds. We'll see;)
On another note: Ladies, I'm sorry, but you can stop looking...I've found the best man out there, and he's all mine! Jordan came to hang out with me this weekend and we had a lot of fun. As you may have seen from his blog, he announced to me that Saturday was going to be a "Monkey Day!" I got to pick all of our activities and he bought me some goodies (a t-shirt, a couple of DVDs and some make-up). I don't care how old you get, it's always fun for someone to pay special attention to you and spoil you for a day. Jordan is so great about surprising me with sweet little things like that when I least expect it. One day when I get a real job I'll be sneaky and give him his own Monkey Day too. For now, I'm just excited about getting to move back to Shreveport (apt opens Aug 19th) and see him everyday!!
