Random Gripings
I thought that for my first post, I would do some sort of cutesy (is that a word?) little introduction thing. Then I realized that was pointless seeing as how the only people who will give any attention to my blog are most likely the people who know me pretty well already. So what better way to start off a blog than to get a few things off my chest that are causing me ridiculous amounts of stress. I'm sure many people can relate to these issues and maybe you'll at least see that you're not the only frustrated one....I feel your pain.
Gripe #1:
I HATE MY JOB TODAY!!! Notice I did say today, not just I hate it peroid. I work at a bank in Ruston. We were absolutely swamped today and I left at 5:48 when I'm supposed to get off at five. Needless to say, that was no fun. Since I'm moving to Shreveport at the end of the summer anyway, today was one of those days I could have turned in my two weeks notice and not given a second thought about it. Unfortunately, I have a little more self-control than that :)
Gripe #2:
216 MINUTES OVER ON MY CELL PHONE BILL...ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!
Okay, I know this happens to a ton of people I know, but I've always been good at keeping up with my minutes and not going over. When I saw this, I was positive it was some sort of crazy mistake! I sat there and counted up every call I had made before I believed it. Sure enough, the extra $97! worth of charges were actually supposed to be there. Most of this is because Jordan's cell phone has CRAPPY reception in his house, so we always end up talking on his house phone. Oh well, he is a sweetie and is paying the minutes for the minutes we talked. I've definitely learned my lesson and will be checking my minutes on a daily basis. Oh and what's up with being charged for both incoming and outgoing text messages?! People, unless you want to send ten cents along with your messages, you're oh so urgent "what's up girl?" can wait ;)
Okay, this is getting longer than I thought it would so I'll stop with the two that top my list. I'll leave you for now to feel sorry for me with the promise that my next post will start off on a more positive note.
